About Amapola Property Management

Hi, I’m Georgina Solorzano, the founder of Amapola Property Management. I’ve lived in Playa Junquillal since 2004 and started Amapola in 2005, inspired by a simple idea: to offer professional, trustworthy care for people’s homes — especially when they’re far away.

Back then, I saw a clear need for a reliable and serious property management service in our area. As a Costa Rican fluent in English, with close ties to both local culture and international expectations, I found myself in a unique position to bridge that gap. I was married to an American for 19 years, and that connection gave me a deep understanding of the mindset and needs of many of my clients — while also knowing exactly how to get things done here in Costa Rica.

Over time, our service area grew from Junquillal to Hacienda Pinilla and surrounding communities. I’ve helped homeowners through construction, renovation, emergency repairs, and high-season rentals — always with attention, honesty, and heart.

What Matters to Me

I treat every home as if it were my own. I love solving problems, taking care of the details, and making sure both owners and guests feel looked after. I also love to host — to help people arrive and instantly feel relaxed, welcome, and at home.

I’m also a proud mom of three kids, and everything I do is rooted in care, responsibility, and creating a good experience — for clients, guests, and my community.

Meet the Team

Amapola is a family-run business built on trust. I work closely with my brother Gabriel, our right hand Joseph Gómez, and Karla Sánchez, who works quietly but powerfully behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. Together, we manage everything from maintenance and check-ins to deep cleanings, bookings, and personalized guest support.

A Little More About Me

Outside of work, I’m passionate about animals — especially horses — and I love being surrounded by nature. This region means a lot to me, and I’m proud to contribute to it by taking care of the homes that bring others here to experience it too.
